Events must be posted at least 30 days prior to trial date
For the BHU Legends tournament, we will treat each field as a separate trial. Per BHU Rules, each dog may only enter one trial per day so if you run your dog in field 1, you may not run your dog in field 2. The fields AND run orders will be drawn randomly using the same method we have used in the past to determine run orders. A dog may sign up for this event twice per division, but will only run in one field per division. If the field is not full, the dog will be able to run twice in that field. If the field gets full and additional dogs are signed up, the dogs that are signed up twice will be bumped for their second run according to the timestamp of when they signed up; later dogs to sign up will be bumped first.
The final run off will have no bearing on BHU points. Any questions regarding the run off will be directed to Jacob Edwards.
A dog may only receive one set of HH points and Champion points per day.
The trial will be limited to 40 dogs total, 20 per field in order to get all runs completed and have time for the run off.
- A dog may run twice in each class if trial is not full. ( 30 DOGS/FIELD) (Any run signed up the day of trial after the first run has begun cannot play for Championship points or bump any dog out of a placement. The dog will be awarded only High Honor points and will not affect any other dog’s points. Dog may receive only one set of points per trial.)
- One event per day counts for season points (see High Honor and Champion points rules)
- A dog participating twice in a trial will receive High Honor and Champion points only for that dog’s best placement in a trial. (see HH and Champion points rules)
