2025 Pheasants Forever Bird Dog Classic

The Bird Dog Classic is a 2-day trial that features Amateur and Open Pointing, Amateur and Open Flushing, Ladies Pointing and Flushing, and Youth Pointing and Flushing.  The Amateur and Open divisions will consist of two runs with winners being determined by a combined score and time.  The Ladies and Youth divisions will be held on Saturday only and will consist of one run with the winner being determined by score and time. 

All trial rules will follow BHU rules. Dogs will receive three sets of High Honor (HH) Points (1 set for each field and one set for the overall placements) and the top 3 dogs will receive Champion points for overall placements.

There will also be an awards banquet on Saturday night at the Independence Country Club.  Each handler will receive one meal ticket with each dog signed up.  We will award the Ladies and Youth Champions at this banquet.  Each hander will also receive ONE membership to either Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever.  

The cost will be $200 for Amateur and Open, $100 for Ladies and $75 for Youth.  This price includes a meal ticket for Saturday's banquet and ONE membership per handler to either Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever. All money will be collected by Wade McNaney BEFORE you enter the field.  We will accept cash or checks only.

Winners of the amateur and open divisions will receive a Tarus G3 9mm handgun and the ladies and youth winners will receive a  rifle!! Trophies will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place finishers.
